Following the disclosure of his bitcoin holdings, which total more than $10 million, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is now recognized as one of the most well-known Americans with digital assets. His cryptocurrency wealth is mostly associated with the memecoin MAGA.
However, the former US President is not alone among celebrities who own cryptocurrency; over the years, influencers, musicians, actresses, and sports figures have all made cryptocurrency investments.
Trump Holds $10 Million In Crypto
Donald Trump, a former US president, reportedly has more than $10 million in cryptocurrencies as of May 27. The memecoin MAGA (TRUMP) was the main cause of this value increase.
The majority of Trump’s cryptocurrency assets, or $7.3 million, are in the $TRUMP cryptocurrency alone, according to statistics from Arkham Intel. Furthermore, Trump possesses more than 463 Ethereum (ETH) coins, which are presently worth $1.8 million.
It’s important to note that, although never having admitted it in public, Trump does not now hold any Bitcoin (BTC).
TRUMP coin, a political meme coin based on Solana, is currently worth $11.01 after rising by more than 60% over the previous seven days.
Throughout his most recent campaign, Trump has stated that he supports cryptocurrency. He used to be wary about cryptocurrencies and even called Bitcoin “very volatile” in 2019, but he has now changed his mind. Trump stated during this election cycle that he will accept cryptocurrencies in his next term as president.
“Hatred towards cryptocurrencies is causing them to leave the United States.” It’s not what I desire. At a recent rally, he declared, “We will have to leave them here if we want to embrace it.”
